Dixon Officer Dies in Crash — Oct 1, 2016

Dixon officer William Zink, 53, was on his way to work last Thursday on his motorcycle. He was splitting lanes on I80 westbound when a car hit his bike. He was thrown into traffic and ran over by a big rig. The tragedy has ripped through the community and several memorials and trust fund accounts have been set up across social media.
