Dixon Crash Kills Teen — Jun 01, 2017

A 16-year-old young man from Winters was killed in a single-vehicle car crash just east of Dixon. Also injured were two teen passengers. Both from West Sacramento. Coroners have identified the young victim as Juan Aguirre, the driver He had been speeding in a 2004 Ford Mustang on Pedrick Road close to Dixon Avenue in Solano County. It was approximately 9 p.m. A teen girl was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The extent of her injuries is not known. The incident occurred close to Dixon Avenue. For reasons yet to be determined, the car veered to the right and onto the shoulder before flipping over and catching fire. No additional details are available.
