Deputy Crashes Car in Arden Arcade — July 14, 2017

The Arden Arcade area, on Fulton Avenue close to Pope, was the scene of an accident Friday morning involving a Sacramento County sheriff’s deputy. He was responding to a call with the cars sirens blaring as a Honda CRV approaching from the opposite direction attempted to turn onto Pope. While the Honda driver waited for some traffic, it pulled out in front of others, causing the deputy to smash into it. All five people in the Honda received major injuries and were transported to an area hospital. The deputy received cuts and lacerations to his face.
