Deadly Crash in Ukiah Leads to DUI Arrest — Oct 25, 2016

A deadly single car accident in Mendocino County led to the death of one person at the intersection of Uva Drive and Highway 101. According to authorities, the crash was not reported until 8:30 a.m. Monday although it occurred closer to 11:30 p.m. Sunday night. Driving was Juan Rodriguez Silva, 18, of Willits. He was driving northbound on Uva when he shot off the road colliding with a tree. He had two passengers, one of which died at the scene. Silva was arrested for DUI.
