Crash Nears Tomales High Severely Injures 5-Year Old Boy and Grandmother

At approximately 6 p.m. westbound on Tomales-Petaluma Road, Norah Moore, 63, and her 5-year-old grandson was driving her Toyota SUV when she approached Irvin Road. A Mercedes emerged turning left in the path of Ms. Moore who could not avoid slamming into the Mercedes. She was transported to an area hospital suffering from major injuries. Her grandson, while strapped correctly into his car seat also suffered major injuries. He was flown to a special children’s hospital. The driver of the Mercedes was only 16 years old, from Sonoma and was uninjured.
