Crash in Sonora Clogs Downtown Traffic — Jan 14, 2017

A two-car accident at South Shepard and East Church blocked the intersection for hours as crews cleaned up the wreckage. A 71-year-old Sonora man driving a 2004 Lincoln ran a stop sign and crashed into a 1999 Dodge driven by a 37-year-old man from Sonora. The Lincoln was forced into a retaining wall. Drugs nor alcohol are suspected to have contributed to the accident.
