CHP Cancelled Sig-Alert After I580 Crash -- Nov 30, 2017

CHP canceled a Sig-alert on Interstate Highway 580 westbound in the Castro Valley area of Alameda County after an injury accident was reported. The two-car accident was reported around 10:45 a.m. on I-580 at Strobridge Avenue. Four lanes of traffic were blocked after the crash, and a Sig-alert was issued at 11:03 a.m. It was canceled at 11:52 a.m. At least one ambulance was dispatched to the scene of the accident, but further information about potential injuries was not immediately available.
