Child Dead in Fiery Oakland Crash — May 2, 2017

Monday’s three car accident in Oakdale killed a man and a child, and hospitalized three others. At approximately 5:00 a.m. on Interstate 880 northbound, close to 5th Street on ramp, when the crash occurred. A box truck was disabled with flashers on when a BMW that was speeding hit it. The BMW went back on road and was hit by a Ford F-250. The child victim did not have a proper car seat. Drugs and alcohol were not related but the driver of the unrestrained child will face charges.
