Car Hits Merced County Cyclist — May 2, 2017

A cyclist riding along Santa Fe Drive was hit and killed by car. It happened sometime before noon. She suffered no major injuries. The 21-year-old cyclist was struck suddenly from the right by a 33-year-old woman in a white Toyota who had drifted onto the shoulder for an unknown reason.
