Car Full of Teenagers Crashes, One dies — Oct 18, 2017

A young girl from Lindsay, 15, died in a single-car crash at 2:15 p.m. Tuesday. She was the passenger in a 2014 Honda Civic driven by Antonio Rangel Junior, 18, Porterville. They were near Lindsay, west of Hillcrest Drive, westbound on Fir Street approaching 60 mph when Rangel lost control. He first hit a cinder block wall and then a telephone pole. The car landed on its side with all four teenage passengers trapped inside. The left side, rear passenger, 15-year-old Paola Cisneros, was not wearing a seatbelt. She was fatally injured.
