Car Backs Over San Jose Motorcyclists — Oct 4, 2017

A 2012 Kia Forte backed onto Senter Road in San Jose Wednesday and ran over a motorcyclist, a man in his 60’s, as he passed behind the car on the road. The accident occurred at approximately 8:45 a.m. in the Seven Trees Village Way area west of Sylvandale Middle School. The Forte backed out of the driveway on the streets east side, going across the adjacent northbound lanes into the southbound lanes. The biker was akent to the hospital but died from his injuries. The driver of the Kia, reported to e a female, cooperated with authorities and was determined not to be under the influence of any substance or guilty of neglect.
