Brentwood Bicyclist Killed by DUI Driver on Balfour Road

According to the California Highway Patrol, a cyclists was killed outside Brentwood when a 29 year old male drunk driver crashed into him. Near 6:40 p.m. on Balfour Road, the 54 year old female cyclist, Sharon Butler, was travelling in the same lane as the car which clipped her with his front end, fatally injuring the woman. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver was arrested.
