Berkeley Bike Crash Sends Boy to Hospital — Apr 21, 2017

A young cyclist received minor injuries Friday morning after a driver collided with his bike, sending him to the hospital. The accident occurred in the 1600 block of Dwight Way. It was close to California Street. The driver remained on the scene to cooperate with police investigations. Witnesses say the boy made some error in the state vehicle code. They say there is no light to help kids cross and bright sunlight was shining into oncoming traffic.
