Auto Accident NewsBicyclist Died Following Collision With Car in Danville, CA

DANVILLE (KRON) — A bicyclist died from his injuries after getting into an accident with a car in Danville Tuesday afternoon.

The accident happened around 4:37 p.m., near the intersection of Crow Canyon Road and Tassajara Ranch Drive.

The bicyclist, a 55-year-old man George Kaufer of Danville, was airlifted to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

The driver of the car stayed at the scene of the accident and cooperated with law enforcement.

The cause of the collision is still under investigation and no charges have been filed against the driver, Danville town spokesman Geoff Gillette said.
