Auto Accident NewsOne Killed in Clear Lake Car Accident

CLEAR LAKE, Iowa (KTTC) -- One person is dead, and another injured after a crash in Clear lake Thursday afternoon.

According to the Iowa State Patrol, a semi truck rear-ended a pickup truck that was stalled on I-35 south about 12:45 p.m.

A passenger in the pickup, 67-year-old Joleen McCrary of Traer, Iowa was killed in the accident.

The pickup's driver, 67-year-old Mark McCrary, also of Traer, and the driver of the semi, 54-year-old Edward Travis of Peducah, Kentucky, were both hurt in the crash and were taken to Mercy Hospital.
