A 24-year-old Jaywalking Pedestrian Killed in Concord, CA

A 24-year-old man attempted to cross the street against the DO NOT CROSS warning light. He was hit by a 56-year-old man from Concord, driving a 1997 Dodge pickup truck towing a utility trailer. The pedestrian ran in front of the truck and it struck him. He was taken to an area hospital and expected to fully recover. Alcohol is not suspected to be a factor.
