hree Seriously Injured in Clayton, CA Auto Accident CLAYTON -- Three people were treated for moderate injuries at a Walnut Creek hospital Saturday evening after their car hit a tree on a rural two-lane road.

The single-vehicle accident occurred just after 6 p.m. at the 8000 block of Marsh Creek Road, the Highway Patrol reported. The injured occupants were taken by ambulance to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek, said CHP Officer William Ogilvie. The names and genders of the occupants were not released.

The CHP is investigating the cause of the crash.
