One Person Killed in Highway 101 Accident

In a crash that had all southbound lanes near Third Street shut down for hours, one person was killed and another seriously injured.  Two cars were involved in the accident. Authorities were alerted to an object in the road that turned out to be a body. There was no further information reported.
